About John
Hello, I am the founder of Anderson Financial Planning Group, LLC, which I have been running independently since I left from my prior broker-dealer in 2012. This has given me insights on how to run a small business while juggling all of the demands of a young family. That is my youngest in the picture over to the left, and you can see the rest of my beautiful family at the picture up top.
I have lived on the west side of Indy for my entire life, except for my college years at Purdue, where I earned my degree. My family resides in Plainfield and man, we love Hendricks County. Besides being a great place to live with great schools, parks, and trails, the people are wonderful. On nights and weekends you can most likely find me at my kids sporting events, either helping coach or as a spectator, beaming with pride.
I am passionate about my family, helping others find their own financial goals, working with small businesses, and education. With this in mind I spend some of my time helping out a local coworking space, Level Two Inc as they work to help develop a healthy entrepreneurial ecosystem in and around the county.
